This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data when you visit alphory.com (the “Website”) or contact us. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG).

• Contact & waitlist data: if you email us or ask to join the early-access waitlist, we process the data you provide (such as your email address and message).
• Server log data: when you load the Website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, date and time of the request and the pages accessed. This is necessary to deliver the Website securely and reliably.

This Website does not use tracking or advertising cookies and does not build user profiles.

• Responding to your enquiry / managing the waitlist — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in communicating with interested users).
• Operating and securing the Website — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in a functional, secure website).

4. Hosting

The Website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, provided by Cloudflare, Inc. Cloudflare processes technical connection data on our behalf as a processor and also provides content-delivery and security services. Data may be processed on servers in the EU and other countries on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with service providers that help us operate the Website (such as our hosting provider) and where we are legally required to do so. All processors are bound by data-processing agreements.

6. Retention

We keep your contact and waitlist data only as long as needed to respond to you and to manage your interest in Alphory, and thereafter in line with statutory retention obligations. Server logs are stored only for a short period for security and troubleshooting.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase or restrict the processing of your data, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise these rights, contact us at office@ataraxmarketing.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde), dsb.gv.at.
